Dr. Bynum, his wife Valerie, daughter Keeley and other church members will be leaving for Nicaragua to help serve the dental needs of the people and to help spread Gods word. They have been called to serve God and do what they can to give comfort and medical help to the community. Dr. Bynum will be doing what dental services he can under extreme conditions. He always finds the people to be so grateful.
They go with a heart to serve and are blessed and humbled when they get to see so clearly, how their
hearts and feet are moving in perfect motion with God’s plan. When they arrive the bus stops at the Emmanuel Baptist Church building, and “Amazing Grace” never sounds so amazing….. The trip is long by bus and they have time to reflect the purpose of why they are going and the rewards knowing they are doing Gods will and the greatfulness of these people. “God is Good.”
In God’s perfect plan, he provides the pieces. In our obedience and active service, we are remarkable blessed and humbled to see the pieces come together and his plan unfold. The mission field is a beautiful place to see this. When our head, our heart, our hands and the will of God are aligned, we are allowed a glimpse…a foretaste of heaven. In other words, when you are actively doing God’s word, everything is just right because that is what we are made for. Here is the secret, Giving is living. Simple yet as deep and as wide as your heart and every decision you make. The reason it is lost and a secret is because it is hidden in a place where most never go in the world. The place of self sacrifice and humble, even difficult service, in the name of Jesus. They work with a servant’s heart in the mission field and discover the overwhelming blessing that comes with it.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”Matthew 7:24
Pray for Dr. Bynum, family and friends as they do Gods will .
